At this year’s Future Travel Experience (FTE) Global conference, Synaptic Aviation joined an inspiring panel titled “Pilot Stories: What hard lessons have been learned- and what are the secrets to a successful innovation journey?”
The discussion brought together industry leaders from Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Aena, Vienna Airport, Gerald R. Ford International, and Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority for a panel on the hard lessons behind successful innovation journeys.
Five of the six panelists represented organizations that have collaborated with Synaptic on innovation initiatives- spanning mid-sized U.S. airports to major international hubs. While each organization’s journey was unique, a common thread emerged.
The main takeaway? Adaptability is the bridge between a pilot and a breakthrough.
From navigating local data standards to integrating AI into daily operations, adaptability proved to be the difference between proof-of-concept and lasting impact.
For Synaptic, adaptability has been central to every project, helping transform short-term trials into measurable improvements in safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
At the heart of every successful pilot lies partnership, flexibility, and a shared commitment to making aviation smarter.
